Deaf children and young people from all over the UK helped to create The Buzz.

At our summer activity events, deaf children and young people aged 8 to 18 years old told us about how they use the internet and what they would like The Buzz to do. These interactive sessions shaped the planning and development of the website. 
 
We also visited five schools: St Paul’s Community School; Blanche Neville School; Hamilton Lodge School; Oak Lodge School; Hendon Community School.

Ongoing user testing and feedback from pupils was invaluable and we are very grateful to the staff who let us meet and discuss various aspects of the website. We listened to what different deaf children and young people liked and disliked and have created The Buzz according to what they told us.
 
Finally, we wish to thank every young individual who has in some way contributed to the website. By helping to write the articles and stories, we've generated a website which will inspire and entertain other deaf young people.
