Adults: I work with young people
Help deaf and hearing teenagers to communicate by telling the young people you work with about Look, Smile, Chat - our new campaign to improve teenagers’ understanding of deafness.
Most deaf teenagers go to mainstream school but their classmates say they don’t know how to start a conversation. Thousands of deaf young people have told us that this is a really important issue to them – let’s do all that we can.
To support the campaign we’ve created free lesson plans, posters and films. Watch and download them by clicking the links on this page.
We’d love to hear about what you do to support Look, Smile, Chat. Email us at cyp@ndcs.org.uk
